Memory Walk

What would you feel if someone you love, a family member, a friend or even worse yourself began to lose their memories, and ability to function on a day to day basis. Alzheimer's Disease is a devestation condition that robs the afflictated of their mobility, memories and themselves, they lose their spark(soul) that makes them who they are. There are many people everyday working towards a cure for this disease and though there has been progress made there is still so much work left to be done. Good research requires funding and to that end there is the Alzheimer's Memory Walk and they are currently searching for teams and lead captains to create the atmosphere of togetherness to encourage people to get together for a great cause

There are over 600 walks planned for this fall all accross the country to be part of one check your zip code for the walk closest to you. There are many ways you can help, if you are unable to walk you can volunteer to assist the walk or purchase Memory Walk gear to show your support. Working together we can all make a differance and dream of a day when we can live in a world without Alzheimer's.
