Vacation At Last

Tommorrow is my last day of work before I get to go on vacation, how exciting is that. This will be the first vacation I have ever take in which I have no where to go, no travelling. We will be staying home and doing odd jobs around the house that we really need to get completed. I am hopeful the weather will co-operate with us and allow us to get everything done. We are expecting company on the weekend and I would like to have all the little jobs done. There is some electrical work to do that my FIL is planning on helping me with but I have to have some room framing done first before he gets here. Love for Music

Our son was really wanting to learn how to play guitar, so much that he asked for a guitar for Christmas. He was very excited to recieve a package from us for the holidays but when we tried to get him some lessons it was very difficult to work something out around all the other things we had scheduled. Renovation Disappointment

We have been having some window/home renovations done lately at the house, all was going well at first and they had probably 90% of the work done in the first 3 days. They hit the snag when they went to do the siding and realized they had ordered the wrong siding in. It has been 2 weeks since they were last at the house and we are hopeing they will be back this week to finish up. It is frustrating because the front of our home has no siding and they had a few things inside to finish up that are waiting too so our kitchen is in turmoil. The good thing, we don't have to make any payments for the job until the work is all finished so everyday is one more day until I have to pay but it would be nice to finish it up.
