Moving, Storage and Transport

With moving around so often we have become pretty familiar with the different moving services available and luckily for us all our moves went really smooth which prevented a lot of stress. With having a large family and lots of toys in the barns some of our moves needed some special storage and not to mention bike transport which was great, this is a u-pack moving where you pack the items or items and they drive. It is a great movie service which makes your moves a lot easier. We don't plan on moving again any time soon but if and when the time comes I will certainly use this service again.

The weekend is finally here

It is Friday once again and time to enjoy some time off. Although it will be a busy weekend I am looking forward to this time home with my family then on Monday I will start my week off for my vacation. We aren't going anywhere this time so it will be nice to just hang out around the house and enjoy this time with the kids. Hopefully I will have some nice weather to enjoy but if not I have lots of projects I can get done inside the house.

Starting to get busy

Tonight was the first night of our new busy fall schedule, my wife had to take my daughter over to her big dance night. This was my first night with the 3 boys and it was a challange, we had to finish up homework, have supper, take the puppy for a walk and to wind down watch a movie. My wife is thinking about returning to work in the evenings so it was good for me to get a trial run to see what it will be like with the boys. I have a few ideas on how to better interact with them now to get the behavior we expect from them.

Crank the Heat

It is chilly here tonight, I find myself turning to the electric fireplaces to take the chill off. I'm very glad we managed to get a few of these heaters for the house last year, we have 5 in the house now and they are all over the place. They are fantastic because the blow the heat out so you can get warm quickly and they also heat up the room quickly. Another great thing about them is that they don't run on oil, like the rest of the house.

Sports Fan

It's fun being a sports fan and while travelling around it's great to try and take in whatever sports the local area has. I'm thinking about planning a trip down to Miami next year and with my son being a huge basketball fan I thought we might try to get our hands on some Miami Heat tickets. It would be our first big NBA game live and I think it would be a fun experience. So you think you can dance

With dancers in the house it's exciting to have So you think you can dance on to watch. It's a great excuse for the older kids to stay up with Mom and Dad and hang out. Right now it's audition time and there are some exciting dancers and of course some funny dancers also. I look forward to spending the next few months watching the shows with the kids.
