It's funny how much differance a year can make, when we moved into our new house last summer it was twice the size of our old home. Now in our other house everything had it's spot and we had room to live. After being in our home for a year we have never gotten to the point where everything has a spot. The biggest issue being storage so we spend the last couple of days working on closets, changing hang bars and adding shelves where possible to make organization easier. We will have to see if the changes we have made make a differance in our day to day life once we get a couple of weeks in with the kids in school.

Building a Storage Solution
After we moved into our house last summer we had a lot of projects to do to make it our own. It is a never ending project working on things around the house the latest was the crawl space in Justin's bedroom. His room is above what was formally our garage which is in the middle of changing into a family room ( another story there )It had a cubby on each side of the room but they weren't finished, plywood flooring and insulation out. I started sunday by putting up a plastic vapor barrier to cover the insulation. Thankfully my wife came up with a wonderful idea to put some laminate flooring down that we had left over from another project to cover the floor. It's beginning to look like a little room in there now. This morning I added a florecent light that we picked up last night so we can see in there. It will give Jay some needed storage space and a closet spot to hang up clothes. It's coming along, I will have to try and put some sheet rock up to finish it up a little better at some point.
